🌈 All children have the right to an inclusive education that recognizes their strengths, weaknesses, and potential. Let's make it a reality by understanding dyslexia and other Specific Learning Disorders (SpLDs). 🌈

🔍 Dyslexia, the most prevalent learning difficulty, often coexists with other SpLDs or developmental disabilities such as dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, or ADHD. But fear not—whatever you do for a child with dyslexia will benefit all students in your class. Explore strategies for creating an inclusive classroom environment. 🔍

📚 Gain the knowledge and skills to effectively understand, identify, assess, teach, and support individuals with dyslexia and other LDs in literacy. 📚

🔎 Find screening and assessment tools, intervention programs, and teaching advice for classes, groups, and individuals. Unlock the power of the "5 Big Essential Elements" in teaching literacy, using evidence-based research programs. Accommodations, resource links, and planning examples included! Length: 135 pages. 🔎

🌟 Remember, dyslexia is a learning difference, not a disability—these children simply learn differently. And it's our job to enable their success. 🌟

Many of us can relate to having a favourite recipe book. Dog eared, jam smeared and seems to fall open at the exact page of your very best, most referred to recipe. Karen has managed to create this for teachers!
The practicality of this manual will assist beginning teachers through to the most experienced with daily ideas to use. Suggestions and recommendations contained within are aligned with current best practice. Although, slightly less delicious than the items made from a recipe book, the outcomes will be none-the-less equally as satisfying.
